  15. <p>     DIED. Bert Parks, 77, perennial master of ceremonies of the
  16. Miss America Pageant and game-show host; in La Jolla, Calif.
  17. Parks, whose rendition of There She Is serenaded winners in
  18. Atlantic City for 25 years, was unceremoniously booted from the
  19. pageant in 1979 because of his age. In 1990 Parks got the last
  20. laugh when he appeared in a much lauded cameo role in the film
  21. The Freshman, singing a satirical version of There She Is to a
  22. lizard.
